Our Journey: Transforming the Cleaning Industry
CLNRZ was born from a simple observation that became impossible to ignore—the commercial cleaning industry wasn't working for anyone.
Evan Norton, our founding partner, spent years managing cleaning contracts in busy industrial and multi-residential environments. During that time, he witnessed what most people don't see: the cleaners who show up early, stay late, and take pride in their work—often with little recognition and even less support.
"Service quality changed from shift to shift. Cleaners had no real training, no feedback, and no path to grow. Clients were left guessing if work was done, managing their own supplies, and picking up the slack when someone called off," Evan recalls.
"I thought: there has to be a better way. So I set out to build it."
In 2024, CLNRZ was established with a mission to flip the script—creating a cleaning company that treats cleaners like skilled professionals with the tools, training, and recognition they deserve. One that gives customers peace of mind through consistent quality, real-time service confirmations, responsive support, and proactive account management.
Our founding team combined decades of experience in commercial cleaning operations, facility management, and business development. We've seen the broken economics of traditional cleaning models from all sides—and we've rebuilt the model from the ground up.
